There are other DBW manifold adapters available on the market, some are pretty inexpensive, what sets OSG adapters apart from the rest? It's just a hunk of metal right? - not quite.
Design: We have a methodology behind our design process which prioritizes functionality, quality and aesthetics. It doesn't just need to work, it needs to work the best and look good doing it to. Our latest adapters are designed with dual side port matching. This means that there are no restrictions, disturbances or eddies created while air flows through our manifold adapters It also means you get the best possible performance.
Materials: We use high quality billet 6061 Aluminum to CNC machine our adapters.
Finish: Whether you have a performance based car or a all-out show car, we strive to have the best quality surface finish. All of our adapters our anodized to prevent corrosion. We are also beginning to offer our adapters in more color options.
Seals: Whenever possible, we use oil resistant o-ring seals between the manifold and throttle flanges. This allows for an effective seal 100% of the time.
Hardware: We use high quality yellow zinc coated metric hardware for a great fit and finish. We've also designed our adapters to use counterbored Allen head bolts rather than countersunk flat head bolts. countersunk bolts may look nice but they do not allow the use of a locking washer making them subject to loosening under vibration unless locktite is used. We do not recommend using Loctite when attaching your throttle body.
