We have developed a complete DBW adapter kit for many 90's era Nissan Engine/Chassis Platforms for OEM and Aftermarket manifolds. Bring your RB/SR/JZ into the 21st century and experience the benefits of Electronic DBW Throttle system. No need for that old IACV or AAC with this setup! DBW allows for exact and precise throttle control without using timing or external valves to control idle speed.
NOTE: Basic kit includes Bosch throttle body, Nissan 350z pedal and manifold specific adapter. Photos show kit with all add-on options. Build your kit for your chassis with the parts you'd like.
The Benefits of Drive By Wire (DBW):
- "Point and Shoot" idle control. Program what you want your idle speed to be and the throttle will work automatically to maintain that idle speed.
- Eliminates the need for aging, dirty idle air control valves that can be a costly to replace and a nightmare to tune properly.
- Eliminates air leaks and "throttle sticking" that can be found in cable driven throttle body applications. Having the shaft seals leak and cause boost issues is never fun, neither is having a throttle cable seize in the open position!
- Improve throttle response via programmable ramp rates vs throttle size.
- Cruise control - yep, on a manual transmission - pretty cool for highway use.
- Automatic throttle blips on downshifts and many more race specific functions.

NOTE: The Factory (OEM) Nissan ECU will not work with DBW. To adapter DBW, you will require a aftermarket ECU/ECM. Please make sure your ECU/ECM is capable of running DBW before ordering.

Outsider Garages DBW kit is worth every penny! Easy to install, wire up & the throttle response out of my RB is unmatched. Machine quality on the adapters is extremely nice & the fit / finish is perfect. Whenever we had questions, OG was happy to answer them. If you’re having hesitations on spending the money, don’t. It’s worth EVERY LAST PENNY!
Thrilled to have the DBW conversion kit arrive for my RB25, communication was great answered all my questions, fast delivery to the UK bit of a pain paying extra customs charges. Not installed the kit yet but the build quality looks 10/10, excited to get this kit installed! Would buy from outside garage again 🙏
He didn't reinvent the wheel. He took a readily available and proven 350Z pedal and throttle body and makes some Impeccable adapter flanges to match basically every intake plenum; the tolerance is ridiculously tight but still easy to install.
The customer service of OG is really the best part of the kit. Response time when I came across issues was better than any other company I've dealt with. I want to buy the whole catalog now! Constant R&D is keeping the skyline community alive.
Speaking of response time: throttle response is now instant and allows me to adjust parameters in the haltech to have better launch control and even add cruise control.
