OSG Universal Billet DBW Pedal Assembly
Introducing a revolutionary new product for retrofit Drive By Wire Conversions. Outsider Garage has created a Billet, Modular, Adjustable electronic pedal assembly. This pedal is designed to be a universal application with chassis specific adapters.
We understand that some OEM pedal assemblies fall short of expectations and create headaches setting up with aftermarket ECUs. We've designed our pedal assembly around the Nissan 350z/G35 accelerator pedal sensor. This is sensor has proven itself to be reliable, easy calibrate, inexpensive and easily available if replacement becomes necessary.
Construction: Our pedal assembly is CNC machined from a billet of 6061 aluminum to be strong and much stiffer than OEM applications giving the driver superior feedback and a flawless relationship with the throttle body. The pedal fulcrum pivot is made from stainless steel combined with self lubricating bushings that were designed to make the pedal free of side to side play.
Adjustable: We've designed our pedal with the end user in mind.
- 3 alternate mounting positions side to side (pre-configured based on selected chassis)
- 3 alternate mounting positions front to back
- Pedal height can be calibrated using the 6 available mounting positions to clock the pedal sensor, this allows the pedal height to be fine tuned. Different fulcrums and firewall adapters will become available for those who wish to drastically change the pedal height & position.
- Drift pedal option has a 2 position pitch adjustment - this will be available on more options in the future.
- The pedal has a simple 2 bolt attachment design to allow for quick and easy adjustments and pedal changes.
Modular: Dedicated racecars, street monsters, daily drivers, or a little of everything? We understand that one pedal is not right for all types of driving. We also understand that some drivers compete in weekend events but still like to street drive their car. Now you can have the best of both worlds. There are 3 pedal options to choose from. Street, Drift and Circuit racing pedals will allow the user to tailor their pedal to any given situation. the easy 2 bolt pedal attachment allows them to do this easily. Multiple pedals can be kept in the car and swapped out as needed.
We've even added options for accessories to be attached such as a top shield, pedal stop and others in the future!
Wiring: Our pedal uses the common Nissan/Infiniti/Toyota/Lexus pedal position sensor, commonly found on the 350Z/G35 and SC430. This means you can use your existing harness in these applications. We also have plug & pins sets and full length premium harnesses to make wiring a breeze.
Fitment:
- Nissan 350Z
- Nissan 240sx S13, S14 (LHD & RHD)
- Nissan Skyline R32, R33, R34
- Toyota Supra MKIV
What's included?
- Billet DBW Pedal Assembly
- Chassis Specific Adapter (If chosen)
- Wiring Option(s) (If chosen)
Pedals are configured by hand per order based on the options you provide. We have a list of specs that works best for each chassis, and most of the time, no adjustments are required unless desired.
Please note: Pedal must be re-calibrated and back-stop must be adjusted and tightened each time pedal height adjustment is changed.
